SMS Gateway with Ethernet Interface
G4N01SMS is a communication device designed to manage intensive exchange of short messages (SMS) and GSM voice calls. Thus the hardware is playing the role of SMS Center (SMSC) or SMS Gateway and allows a transparent control of the SMS transactions without a direct GSM modem management in AT mode.
The fast SMS delivery is achieved by two GSM modems which are balancing the tasks and an internal smart algorithm that manage a list of 2000 items. The G4N01SMS is designed to work in industrial environment and outdoor, supporting power over Ethernet (PoE) over LAN interface. The case is sealed and provides the necessary protection for humidity and corrosion.
The administration interface is provided by a LANTRONIX module over the Web interface, while the communication for GSM tasks and status control is accessible over a dedicated TCP/IP socket.
